Youth Pastor

Luke Dufek, Associate Pastor, Director of Youth Ministries

Luke is a graduate of UW-Whitewater with a degree in physical education/recreation and is working on his master’s degree through Trinity Seminary. Before coming to Woodridge, he was the president of Campus Crusade for Christ at UW-Whitewater and volunteered as a youth pastor’s assistant at Crosspointe Community Church. Luke is married to his best friend Amy Marie and they’re enjoying being parents to their son Isaiah. He is a proven leader with a heart for kids. “I know I’ve been called by God to be a youth pastor. I have a passion for the youth to encounter, follow, and chase after Jesus Christ. The prayer of my heart is that the youth maintain a strong relationship with Jesus Christ for the rest of their lives. I will encourage and challenge the youth to become closer to their Creator and to be spiritual leaders among their peers. I know how important it is that the youth have dedicated and committed role models in their lives, and I’m committed to being one.”

Director of Children's Ministries

Nancy Hilger, Director of Children's Ministries

Nancy loves God, His Son Jesus, her husband Jim, their 4 children, their lab Libby (but maybe not their two cats), new ideas, kids, storytelling, kayaking, and being creative! Before answering the call to ministry Nancy was a stay at home mom, loving schooling her own children from her home in New Berlin. She has a married daughter, a son serving as a Ranger in the army, a daughter who is one of her best Sunday school teachers, and a son in high school. Nancy says, "I love my position at Church because I believe children can have an authentic relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. We often greatly underestimate what young children can learn. Small children are curious; they are born with a desire to learn. I am passionate about developing young leaders, it is never too early to start! I find children some of my best company; they are so genuine."

Music Director

Jen Bassler, Worship Ministry Leader

Jen Bassler has enjoyed the privilege of coordinating worship at Woodridge since 1995.  A few years after she received her Music Education degree from Carroll College, God directed her to this ministry position, and she relies on Him to enable her to serve in it.  She loves seeing God work through His people to accomplish His purposes and bring glory to Himself.  Jen and her husband Bryan have been blessed with 4 children:  Kira, Katelyn and Caleb, and Kyla. When she’s not busy coordinating worship, you can usually find her in her backyard playing with her kids.

Ashley Hacker, Office Administrator

Drew and Ashley Hacker started coming to Woodridge just over 2 years ago. They lead a 20-something community group and help out with the youth group. Ashley is a graduate of Carroll College with a degree in elementary education. She taught for one year when God called her to be Woodridge’s office administrator.

Sound Coordinator

Glenn Marczewski Jr., Sound Coordinator

Glenn has been attending Woodridge since 2001, when he returned from Boston where he studied music production and songwriting at Berklee College of Music. At Woodridge he met fellow worshipper, Chelbie, and the two were married. They attended For His Glory Bible College to study worship. Glenn has served Woodridge in many capacities including sound tech, youth pastor's assistant, and even Sunday school teacher, as well as playing various instruments on the worship team. In 2007 Glenn and Chelbie moved to New York City to pursue music, which in turn lead them to California, and then back to Wisconsin to raise their newborn Daughter, Brooklynn, around a supportive community of family and believers.
