The Blessed Are Those Who Fear the Lord

This psalm is part of the “Songs of Ascents” which were often sung by Israelites as they made their “ascent” up to Jerusalem for the various religious celebrations and festivals. This song teaches God’s people the blessings that come to those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways.
