“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
Proverbs 27:17
Community Groups
Community Groups are one of the primary means Woodridge uses to proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and treasure Christ above all. Because church is more than just a service on Sunday, Community Groups allow us to enjoy authentic, intentional relationships throughout the week. They seek to unite mature believers with young believers. They seek to bring together people of different ages, vocations, and backgrounds because of their love for Jesus and their commitment to the Gospel.
Here’s what that looks like in practice: Community Groups are anywhere from 8-20 people who meet weekly to take what is preached from the pulpit and allow it to reverberate through the life of the congregation.
Anyone can join—no prerequisite. So if you’re looking to get connected at Woodridge and grow in the knowledge of the Gospel, joining a Community Group is a great form of discipleship.
