In 1988, Woodridge Community Church was founded to herald the good news of God’s grace in Christ. Then, now, and forever, the church remains committed to proclaiming God’s sovereign love for His people in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
We are, in every way, a Gospel-centered ministry that aims to glorify God by proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, and treasuring Christ above all. It’s the reason we exist.

What To Expect
Profile
Our church family is made up of people from different generations and backgrounds. If you join us for worship on the Lord's Day you'll see a lot of children (they are a great blessing from the Lord), families, young adults and older believers. We are friendly and love to talk with others about God, the gospel and the Christian life but with many visitors each week, please introduce yourself!
Service
Adult and Children Sunday School begins at 9:00am and our corporate worship begins at 10:00am. During this time, we sing songs, offer prayers of praise, petition and confession to God, celebrate the Lord's Supper (every Sunday) and hear God's Word preached. A typical service lasts one hour and fifteen minutes.
Music
The music we sing is a blend of old and new. We love the doctrinally rich hymns of the sixteenth century and we joyfully sing theologically solid choruses of the twenty-first century. We strongly prefer congregational singing, which emphasizes the gathered body singing praise to God with one voice.
Sermons
Preaching at Woodridge is expositional, meaning we seek to declare the point of a particular Biblical passage. Sermons last 40 to 45 minutes and are driven by the gospel, the Bible’s main message of God saving sinners through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
