Woodridge Community Church and Waukesha City Church hosted their first combined conference called "Restoring Truth" in 2024. The phrase, "Restoring Truth" is significant because the world has taken things that have been given to the church by God, good things, and turned them into sinful things and idolatry; things that need to be reclaimed by unashamed, bold, and wise Christians. The content below is from our yearly conferences with topics that get at how we can restore truth and equip Christian as they interact with a fallen world.
Living Faithfully in an Age of Advanced Technology
2026 Restoring Truth | February 27th and 28th, 2026
We live in an age of unprecedented technology—electric cars, supercomputers, internet, online banking, word processors—all at our fingertips. In recent years, this ease has culminated in the rapid pursuit of artificial intelligence. God made us in His image, and as image bearers, we create. But are we now creating in our image more than His? Is this advanced technology helping us become more like Christ—or is it quietly reshaping what it means to be human into something, lesser? At Restoring Truth 2026, we’ll explore how Scripture speaks into our use of technology, including A.I., and how the gospel restores not just truth—but our very humanity.

Vocation and Recreation to the Glory of God
2025 Restoring Truth
Today, there is considerable confusion over what it means to be a man or a woman. The opening pages of scripture teach us that God made us male and female in His own image for unique purposes to glorify Him. We know the differences between men and women are important because God says so, but sometimes we fail to understand how far-reaching these differences are. In this conference, we will explore and seek to better understand how our male and femaleness shape our work (vocation) and play (recreation).
Healthy Families, Healthy Churches
2024 Restoring Truth
When we get God's vision for what a family should look like, this will flow into the vision of how the church family looks and operates. Join pastors from both churches as we teach and proclaim what God's Word says about the family, and how a proper understanding of the family (married and singles) will lead to strong churches.
