Music, Singing and the Christian
Many of us are aware, especially if you attend Woodridge, that God commands singing from His people. However, that statement encompasses more than just singing on Sunday morning. Singing to God implies that we know how to sing. Or do we?
Join Pastors John and Drew in this episode as they discuss the topic of music, singing, and the Christian life. They are joined by Woodridge member and DOXA Christian Academy music teacher, Elijah Grajkowski. Together, they explore how being saved by the grace of God should change us as Christians to be hearers and doers of music. They discuss the need to repent for minimizing the importance of singing or outright ignoring this command. Additionally, they examine select passages that highlight the significance of music and singing and conclude with practical steps to grow in musical literacy and enthusiastic singing.
