The Parable of the Ten Minas

With Jesus at the doorstep of Jerusalem there was much excitement in the air. The expectation of many was that Jesus' arrival in the holy city would usher in the kingdom of God resulting in a time of great blessing for God’s people. Rather than fan the flame of excitement Jesus told this sobering parable about servants giving an account for what they are given that teaches us not to waste what God has entrusted to us.
