Slow of Heart to Believe

In this passage we find the exciting story about two people who unknowingly took a long walk with the recently resurrected Jesus. Sad, and struggling to understand Jesus’ death and to believe the reports of his resurrection, our Lord rebuked them and explained from the Old Testament how the scriptures foretold these things. This passage exhorts those struggling with doubt to believe the gospel and provides a great lesson in evangelism and discipleship.
