The Crucified King

The suffering of Christ continued when he was nailed to the cross and lifted up to die between two criminals. It is hard to comprehend the amount and the extent of the suffering that the Lord Jesus endured before he died to reconcile sinners to God. Along with recording more of this suffering, these verses reveal how Jesus’ crucifixion fulfilled scripture and provide us with a powerful summary of the two ways to respond to the crucified King.
