Hope For Deniers

Throughout his ministry Jesus foretold many things. In this passage we see one of the saddest of the Lord’s predictions come true. The disciple Peter, who had professed his willingness to die for Jesus publicly denies knowing Jesus three times. Abandoning Christ was one of, if not the most shameful things Peter ever did. However, the Lord did not abandon Peter in his shame showing us that there is hope for deniers.
