Jesus Prepares Himself for a Festival and a Feast

As we continue in our text, immediately following the Olivet Discourse, we will focus on how Jesus prepares Himself as our sacrificial lamb for the Passover feast and meal, the last supper. To much of the surprise and dismay of the chief priests and scribes, their plan to kill Jesus is not only going to bring damnation on themselves, but as part of God’s plan, bring salvation to the world!
