When Desolation Comes Near

Having previously explained what will happen before the temple is destroyed. In this portion of the Olivet Discourse Jesus answers the disciples’ question regarding how the temple will be desolated. God will use another nation to judge unbelieving and unfaithful Israel, justice will be done. This righteous judgment is a fulfillment of God’s word and a sobering reminder to both God’s holiness and our great need for God’s grace in Jesus Christ.
